Kevin Alloway
Hi, I'm Kevin Alloway and I'm a freshman here at Westtown. Even though I've been going here for 6 years, this is my first real experience as a member of the environmental movement and I'm finding it to be amazing.

Elisabeth Baird
I'm Lizzie Baird, I'm 15 and I'm a sophmore at Westtown School. I am in Quaker Leadership Program and this is my first year in Earth Service.

Lucas Braun
Hi, my name is Lucas Braun and I am a 17-year-old senior at Westtown. I am one of the four heads of Earth Service, the environmental club, and I help clerk the Quaker Leadership Program too. I like languages, maths and sciences, sports, outdoor adventures, and social action activities, as well as environmentalism. I grew up a Quaker and I live in a Quaker intentional community in upstate New York when I'm not at boarding school.

Sarah Bourne
Sarah graduated from Warren Wilson College with a BA in Studio Art and is a graduate of Westtown School. She is presently working in the Lower and Upper Schools at Westtown, teaching Pre-K and helping with Earth Service (the student environmental group), among many other things! She is very excited to be a part of the FSDotE!

Andrew Currie
Hello my name is Andrew Currie. I am a senior at Westtown School. I am a clerk of the planning commitee for the Freinds' Schools' Day of the Earth. I am really interested in local agriculture and am starting a CSA this Spring. I live in Chadds Ford Pennsylvania where my farm will be located.

Robin Embick
Robin, from West Chester, PA, is finishing up her senior year at Westtown and in the fall is starting her freshmen year at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY. Robin is a club head for Westtown's environmental group, Earth Service, is involved with Westtown's Outdoor Program and Work Program, and is a member of Westtown's Sustainability Committee. Robin hopes to continue her work in environmental activism next year and beyond.

Kate Hadley
Hi, my name is Kate Hadley and I am from Radnor, PA. I am currently a senior at Westtown, and a member of Earth Service Club. I'm really excited to be involved in planning Friends School Day of the Earth, and to be working with such a great group of people.

Averyl Hall
Hi, my name is Averyl Hall and I am a senior at Westtown School. I decided to help plan the Friends School Day of the Earth because I am interested in enviormental sustainability and want to help spread awareness about enviormental issues to other people.

Marcella Houghton
Hi, my name is Marcella Houghton and I'm a senior from Marlboro, NY. I'm one of the four Earth Service club heads, an attender of the Sustainability Committee, and part of the Quaker Leadership Program.

Paula Kline
Quaker educator, developed and taught schoolyard gardens and habitat restoration at Westtown School. International experience includes program development and consulting in the area of early childhood education and teacher training in Nicaragua, Bolivia and El Salvador. Served as Latin American Desk officer for Save the Children and as their Adolescent Progarm Development consultant.

Wynne Lewis
I am a senior at Westtown School who is very passionate about sustainable living. I am co-head of our environmental club, Earth Service, and am a clerk for the Friends School Day of the Earth planning committee. I live in West Chester, Pennsylvania, and am a member of Birmingham Monthly Meeting.

Maya Manning
My name is Maya Manning and I am a junior from Pocopson, Pa. I live on a farm and pratically grew up on a horse's back, and because of this I have always been interested in protecting nature. I joined the Friends School Day of the Earth Planning committee because I know that our world is changing, and I want to be a part of that change.

Lindsay Necarsulmer
My name is Lindsay Necarsulmer, and I'm a senior from Kennett Square, PA. I've devoted myself to this conference because I, along with my peers, seek to create a better, more sustainable world.

Victoria Pearson
Victoria Pearson, M.Div., is Earth Literacy teacher at Westtown, where she runs a mini-farm and works with students on great events like this one. With a background in social justice ministry in various settings, Victoria brings a passion for empowerment and collaboration-- and is psyched to be collaborating with this talented group of students and faculty.

Emma Podolin
My name is Emma Podolin and I am a junior at Westtown School. I am interested in environmental issues because I feel it is important for us to be good stewards of our earth and to be consciencous of our impact on the world in which we live. When I am not at boarding school I live in Annapolis, Maryland. I grew up in a Quaker family, where I learned the importance of social activism.

Harrison Schell
Hi, I'm Harrison Schell and I'm a 9th grader at Westtown School. I enjoy many sports including Ultimate Frisbee, and Soccer. Last year I attended a Round Square conference on sustainable communities in Bermuda.

Robin Tuttle
My name is Robin Tuttle. I am a senior from State College, Pennsylvania. I joined the Day of the Earth Committee because I am committed to environmental sustainablity and passionate about promoting stewardship of the earth. With the Friends School Day of the Earth I hope to spread awareness throughout the community and make our world just a little greener.
